6 Installation check
After the installation has been completed, check the wiring with regard to
completeness, short circuit, and earth faults:
ƒ Power connection:
Polarity of the DC−bus voltage supply via terminals +UG, −UG
ƒ Motor connection:
In−phase connection to the motor (direction of rotation)
ƒ Wiring of "safe torque off" (formerly "safe standstill")
ƒ Feedback system
ƒ Control terminals:
Wiring adjusted to the signal assignment of the control terminals.
Note!
The next step is the commissioning. Relevant information can be
found in the mounting instructions of the ECS axis module.
ƒ Read the mounting instructions before switching on the axis
module.
ƒ Carry out the commissioning according to the instructions in the
mounting instructions.
ƒ If you use the "safe torque off" function, you must check the
function of the circuit.
