2. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, and install it into the dipstick tube. Verify that the dipstick is completely inserted into the
tube.
3. Remove the dipstick and observe the oil level. The oil level must be between the marks on the dipstick. If necessary, add
oil.
a - No oil required
b - Oil may be added but not to exceed range "a"
c - Oil must be added but not to exceed range "a"
Adding Engine Oil
IMPORTANT: When filling or adding oil to the engine, always use the dipstick to determine how much oil is required. Do not
overfill the engine with oil.
