The grinder fills the dispenser container with ground coffee. When
the dispenser container is full, the dispensing switch is actuated
and the grinder motor is switched off.

To fill the brew unit - the dispensing solenoid is energized twice
and the dispenser flap opens twice. The ground coffee drops from
the dispenser container into the brew unit.
If the dispenser container is not filled because, there are no coffee
beans in the bean holder; the dispenser switch is not activated. The
display then shows “Fill coffee beans”.
4.14 Dispenser Switch
The service mode can be used to check whether the dispenser
switch is activated. With the appliance in the service mode, the top
line of the display shows the switches that have been activated,
The “3” indicates that the dispenser container is full / switch is
actuated. Refer to section 6 – Service Mode for further information.
