Chapter 2 Installation and BIOS Setup
Restore on AC Power Loss
Use this feature to set the power state after a power outage. Select Stay-Off for
the system
power to remain off after a power loss. Select Power-On for the system
power to be
turned on after a power loss. Select Last State to allow the system
to resume its last power
state before a power loss. The options are Power-On, Stay-Off and Last State.
CPU Configuration
The following CPU information will display:
CPU Signature
Microcode Patch
•Max CPU Speed
•Min CPU Speed
•CPU Speed
Processor Cores
Hyper Threading Technology
Intel VT-x Technology
Intel SMX Technology
64-bit
EIST Technology
CPU C3 State
CPU C6 State
CPU C7 State
•L1 Data Cache
L1 Code Cache
L2 Cache
L3 Cache
L4 Cache
Hyper-threading (Available when supported by the CPU)
Select Enabled to support Intel Hyper-threading Technology to enhance CPU performance.
The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Active Processor Cores
This feature determines how many CPU cores will be activated for each CPU. When all
is selected, all cores in the CPU will be activated. (Refer to Intel's website for more
information.) The options are All and 1, 2, and 3.
