Chapter 2 Installation and BIOS Setup
Boot
Use this feature to configure Boot Settings:
Boot Mode Select
Use this item to select the type of device that the system is going to boot from. The options are
Legacy, UEFI, and Dual. The default setting is Dual.
Fixed Boot Order Priorities
This option prioritizes the order of bootable devices that the system to boot from. Press
<Enter> on each entry from top to bottom to select devices.
If the item above set to Legacy, UEFI/Dual the following items will be displayed:
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #1
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #2
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #3
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #4
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #5
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #6
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #7
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #8
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #9
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #10
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #11
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #12
• Legacy/UEFI/Dual/Boot Option #13

Delete Boot Option
Use this feature to remove a pre-defined boot device from which the system will boot during
startup.
The settings are [any pre-defined boot device].
NETWORK Drive BBS Priorities
This feature allows the user to specify which Network devices are boot devices.
