Attaching a Lens
• Lens
An AF-S OX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens (!I 185) is used in this manual for illustrative
purposes. The
AF-S OX Zoom NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II lens can be used in the same
manner,
but it is not equipped with the vibration reduction (VR) function. When using the other
lenses, refer to the User's Manual provided with the lens.

Detaching Lenses
Be sure the camera is off when removing or
exchanging lenses. To remove the lens, press and
hold the lens-release button (CD) while turning the
lens clockwise (cg)). After removing the lens, replace
the camera body cap and rear lens cap.
