Purpose
A Serial Communications Option Board is used to connect the general-purpose components with a se-
rial interface to the CPU Unit in order to perform data I/O processing. The general-purpose compo-
nents with a serial interface includes a bar code reader

emperature Controller and PT.
An RS-232C and RS422A/485 ports are supported, and up to two ports can be built in the CPU Unit.
The supported communications protocols are the host link, Modbus-RTU master, and no-protocol.
