On each pair of connectors, the connector (marked R, red) corresponds to the
right channel, and the connector (marked L, white) to the left channel.
•
Please refer to the instruction manual for each component when you make any
connections.

Connections for remote control ( )
You can use the remote controller of this amplifier to operate,
tuner, cassette tape decks, compact disc players and DVD
players that have Onkyo connectors.
Connect a remote control cable to the black connector with
the mark. Never connect it to the gray or green connec-
tor with the mark.
•
An remote control cable equipped with a 3.5mm (1/8
in.)-diameter miniature two-conductor phone plug comes
with every tuner, compact disc player or cassette tape
deck that has an connector.
•
Remote control operation is not possible when only the
remote control cable is connected – the audio connection
cables must also be connected.
•
This amplifier’s remote controller cannot be used to con-
trol Onkyo turntables.
