Removal of the power unit
Note: To remove the cylinder head, remove
the power propulsion unit.
For removal of the cylinder head, cylinder
and piston, see the workshop
manual: 2-valve, 50cc 4-stroke
engine.
- Remove the storage compartment. See:
Procedure 1. page 19.
- Remove the lower fairing by sliding it
towards the rear of the vehicle (1 screw).
- Disconnect:
The magneto (1).
The starter motor (1).
The choke (1).
The suppressor (2).
The carburettor heater (3).
- Disconnect:
The throttle control (4).
The fuel inlet pipe (5).
The vacuum pressure hose (6) (Pulsair).
The vacuum pressure hose (7) (Fuel pump).
The pulsair reed valve hose (8).
The rear brake control cable.
