With these connections you can simultaneously enjoy 5.2-channel surround sound in the main zone with stereo
playback on another component in ZONE 2, ZONE 3 and HDZONE. (The selection of input devices is limited.)
However, the 5.2 +ZONE 2+ZONE 3, 5.2 +ZONE 2+HDZONE and Multi-ZONE Music settings can be used sepa-
rately according to the situation. Normally set this to 5.2 +ZONE 2+ZONE 3 or 5.2 +ZONE 2+HDZONE and use
this for multi-zone/multi-source playback, and when using the system for home parties for example, set this to
Multi-ZONE Music to associate all zones with the main zone.

! Speaker System setting: 5.2ch + SP-B Bi-Amp
With these connections you can simultaneously enjoy 5.2-channel surround sound in the main zone with stereo
playback of the same sound on the B speakers. The B speakers can be bi-amped to achieve high quality sound.
The speakers from which sound is output can be switched using the OUT P. button. For details, see Switching
the speaker terminals on page 83 .
