CRUISE CONTROL - SPEED LIMITER: cruising function (continued)
Switching on
Turn s wi tch 1 this side.
The indicator light will light up on
the instrument panel.
Activating cruise control
At a stable speed (above 20 mph
(30 km/h)) and in the correct gear
(for vehicles with manual
gearboxes), press switch 2:the
speed is stored.
Driving
Whenacruisingspeedisstoredyou
may lift your foot off the accelerator
pedal.
Changing the cruising speed
Thecruisingspeedmaybechanged
by pressing repeatedly or
continuously on:
- button 2 to increase speed,
- button 5 to reduce speed.
Exceeding the cruising speed
In the event of an emergency
Thecruisingspeedmaybe
exceeded at any time by pressing
the accelerator pedal. While it is
being exceeded, the cruising speed
flashes on the instrument panel.
When the emergency is over, the
vehicle will return to its set cruising
speed as soon as you lift your foot
off the pedal.
Cruising speed cannot be
maintained
If the system is unable to maintain
the cruising speed (for example
when driving up or down a steep
hill), the cruising speed flashes on
the instrument panel.
