EMERGENCY SPARE WHEEL: 5-seat Scénic
Spare wheel 2
This is located in the boot.
To access the emergency spare
wheel:
- open the boot lid,
- lift carpet 1 and hook it under the
rear parcel shelf,
- undo central mounting 3,
- remove the emergency spare
wheel.
Special note:
The Tyre Pressure Monitor function
does not check the emergency spare
wheel (the wheel replaced by the
spare wheel disappears from the
instrument panel display).
Refer to the Tyre pressure monitor
information in Section 2.
If the spare wheel has
been stored for several
years, have it checked by
your dealer to ensure that
it is still safe to use.
Vehicles fitted with an
emergency spare wheel
smaller than the four other
wheels.
The driving speed must not exceed
80 mph (130 km/h) during the
temporary use of the emergency
spare wheel.
The punctured wheel is wider than
the emergency spare wheel, so the
height of the vehicle ground
clearance is reduced.
