master
the
procedures.

is
so easy
that
it
can be
grasped
by anyone.

3.1-1
Why compile
your
own
program?
There are
many reasons why a
program
should
be compiled
be-
fore a compact
disc is
played.
For example
if
you
want to:
-
play
the
selections
not in the same sequence as
they are ar-
ranged on the
compact disc
(refer
to
Section
3.2.3)
-
skip
one or several selections,
i.e.
selective
playback
of a
com-
pact
disc
(refer
to Section 3.2.3)
-
cornpare
individual beats or
passages
of one or several
selec-
tions
(refer
to Section
3.2.4)
quence
described
in this manual. otherwise errors
may creep
in
which usually
cannot be traced back,
i.e. the operator
is not
aware of
what
he is
doing
wrong.
-
exactly analyze
a
phrase
of
a
selection
without
having to
search
the starting
point
each time
with keys
[14]
and
['16]
(ref-
er to Section 3.4.1)
-
assemble
a
program
for copying on
tape
(refer
to Section
3.2.3)
Many other
examples could
be
cited, however, once
the user
has become
proficient,
he will soon think of other
requirements
that can be
satisfied with
suitable
programs.
