Eect Settings
MFX Settings
You can select up to three MFX (MFX1–MFX3) and apply their eects to a kit.

1. Press the [MFX] button.
2. Use the [K][J] buttons to select the MFX (MFX1–MFX3) that you want to edit.
3. Use the [–][+] buttons to turn the eect on/o.
4. Press the [ENTER] button.
Use the [K][J] buttons and [–][+] buttons to edit the eect settings in detail.

MEMO
MFX eect settings can be made separately for the Main and Sub of a pad (p. 14).
AMBIENCE Settings
Ambience simulates the reverberation and acoustics of a location in which you are playing the drums. It lets you
obtain a more natural sound with a sense of presence.

Selects the type of reverberation.
PreDelay 0–100ms Species the delay time from the original sound until the reverb is heard.
Time 0.1–10.0s Species the length over which the reverb sound decays.
Density 0–127 Species the density of the reverb sound.
Diusion 0–127
Species how the density of the reverb sound changes over time.
With higher values, the sound becomes denser as time passes. (This has a greater
eect when the reverb time is longer.)
LF Damp 0–100 Adjusts the low-frequency portion of the reverb sound.
HF Damp 0–100 Adjusts the high-frequency portion of the reverb sound.
Spread 0–127 Adjusts the spaciousness of the reverb sound.
Tone 0–127 Adjusts the tonal character of the reverb sound.
Level 0–127 Adjusts the volume of the reverb.

The volume level that is sent to Ambience can be adjusted individually for Main and Sub (p. 14).
