Looping a Specific Step (STEP LOOP)
While a pattern is playing back, you can make the selected step play
as a loop.
All instruments sounded by the selected step play as a loop.
1. Press the [START/STOP] button to play the pattern.
2. Press the [STEP LOOP] button.
The [STEP LOOP] button lit, and the unit is in step loop mode.
3. Press the pad [1][16] of the step that you want to
loop.
The selected step begins looping.
When you take your finger off the pad [1]–[16], you return to
pattern playback.
Holding the Loop Playback
You can make a step’s loop playback continue even after you release
your finger.
1. While holding down either the [STEP LOOP] button
or one of the instrument select buttons [BD][OH],
press a pad [1][16].
The loop playback continues even after you release your finger.
2. To cancel looping, press the [STEP LOOP] button or
one of the pads.
To Cancel Step Loop Mode
Press any one of the [PTN SELECT], [TR-REC], [INST REC], or
[VARIATION] buttons.
