Serial Conn.
You will be prompted to choose
either
IrDA or Accessories for your
phone’s serial connection.
IrDA (infrared data port)
The infrared port integrated in the
phone cannot be used unless the
other device has a corresponding
port. Align the infrared windows
with each other (maximum distance
is 12 in.).

Highlight IrDA to activate.
Display indicator (in standby mode):

When activated.

During transmission.
Accessories
Select
Highlight Accessories
to activate.
WAP browser
Select the desired profile from the
list (p. 47).
Fax/data mode

Authentication
Activate or deactivate encrypted
WAP dial-up.
