The “Intelligent Auto” mode allows you to easily shoot any subject under
any conditions because the camera makes appropriate judgments on the
situation to adjust the settings.
Select when shooting in a location where the use of a flash is restricted.

Set the mode dial to or
(Flash Off).

Hold the camera, monitoring your shot with the LCD
screen or viewfinder.

Overlay the AF area on the
desired subject.
If the (Camera shake
warning) indicator flashes, carefully
shoot the subject, holding the camera
steady, or by using a tripod.
When the camera recognizes the
scene, the Scene Recognition icon
appears on the screen and suitable
settings for that scene will be put into
effect.

turn the zoom ring, then
decide on your shot.
