Copying movies/still images
You can copy movies and still images
between following recording media:
Memory card t Flash memory unit
Memory card t External media device
Flash memory unit t Memory card
Flash memory unit t External media
device
Get the recording media ready before the
operation.
b Notes
• If there is no image database file on the flash
memory unit, you cannot copy movies. In this
case, press the MENU button, then select
[OTHERS] t [REPAIR IMAGE DB FILE] t
[FMU], to create the image database file.
• Connect your camcorder to the wall outlet (wall
socket) using the supplied AC Adaptor/Charger
to prevent your camcorder from running out of
power during the operation.
z Tips
• The original movie will not be deleted after
copying.
1 Press the MENU button when the
VISUAL INDEX screen is
displayed.
2 Select (EDIT) t [COPY] with
the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial.
3 Select the recording media to
copy from and to.
4 Select [Multiple Images].
5 Select the image type
([ MOVIE], [ MOVIE],
[PHOTO]).
6 Touch the movies or still images
to be copied.
is displayed on the selected image.
You can select multiple images.
z Tips
• Press and hold the image down to preview
the image. Touch to return to the
previous screen.

To copy all movies or still images
Select [All] in step 4, and the image type in
step 5.
