RENEWAL OF LOCKING SPRING OF NOSECONE HANDLE
• Disassemble nose-cone operation.
• Change both locking springs and reassemble.
ADJUSTMENT OF ENGINE MASTER SWITCH
• Remove left and right coverings of instrument panel.
• Re-bend electrical contacts or change if necessary.
7.1.2.4 CENTER FUSELAGE
• Check the steel frame for damages. Repair damage of the paint and remove corrosion. If
damage from chang has occurred, determine and eliminate the cause of chang.
• Check parts of the frame near to the force transmitting ttings (forward fuselage, tail
boom, wings, landing gear), especially the welding seams, for cracks.
•
Check the bolt connections of forward fuselage and tail boom to steel frame for tight
connection.
• Check condition of tail boom composite structure close to the force transmission points.
• Check condition of upper and lower attachment points “framework to forward fuselage”.
•
Check condition of force transmission points in the front fuselage composite structure
(cracks) and bonding of upper shear sleeves for tight t.
Tightening Torques: See section 6.8
NOTICE
Original paint of steel frame has got a dened brittleness by design. It facilitates deection of
cracks.
7.1.3 EMPENNAGE

7.1.3.1 GENERAL CONDITION
•
Check surface of vertical and horizontal tail (ns and stabilizer/rudder) for abnormal con-
dition or cracks, especially near force transmission points (ttings, control links, hinges).
• Check condition and attachment of gap sealing / zigzag (turbulator) tape.
