REPLACEMENT OF MUFFLER HEAT INSULATION
• Remove upper heat protection steel sheet (M5 screw).
• Remove end wall insulation (cut o securing wire).
• Remove springs on muer heat insulation.
• Remove muer insulation to the rear.
• Re-assemble with new insulation in opposite order.
HEAT PROTECTION SHIELDS
• Check condition (cracks, deformation) of the heat protection shields (stainless steel).
• Check condition and tight t of fastening elements (clamps, screws).

FUEL LINES, GENERAL
The condition of the exible fuel lines of the entire fuel system must be checked and the exible
lines must be replaced if required according to section 4 and 5.
WARNING
Fuel lines in the engine compartment must be inspected especially carefully, because leakage of
these lines under operating fuel pressure will probably result in re.
CAUTION
Check service life of fuel hoses and check valves. Refer to section 4 Airworthiness Limitations
Section.
QUICK RELEASE COUPLING
A quick release coupling is installed in the fuel supply line to allow for easy connection of wing and
fuselage fuel system during rigging. Keep the coupling clean, check for leakage, proper locking
and condition of rubber seal. Replace the coupling if condition is poor.
