4.3 Fan Housing
Remove the auger.
Remove the engine, b 7.1
Remove the clutch housing with
gearbox, b 4.1
Remove the shroud, b 7.2
A replacement fan housing comes
with the collar studs and guide pins
already fitted.
: Inspect the collar studs (1) and
replace if necessary.
: Use M5 stud puller (2)
5910 893 0510 to unscrew the
collar studs from the fan housing.
: Before installing, coat the
threads (1) of the collar studs
with threadlocking adhesive,

: If necessary, fit locknuts; then
insert the collar studs (1) and
tighten them down firmly.
: Pull the throttle cable (1) out of
the guide (2), take out the screw
(arrow) and remove the fan
housing (3).
: Inspect the guide pins (1) at both
sides and replace if necessary.
Installing
: Position the fan housing (1) so
that the guide pins (2) engage
the bores (arrows).

: Insert screw (arrow) and tighten it
down firmly.
: Push throttle cable's protective
tube (1) into the guide (2).
: Position the throttle cable's
protective tube (1) so that it is
flush with guide's rib (2).
: If necessary, press the short
circuit and ground wires fully into
the guide (arrow).
Fit the shroud, b 7.2
Reassemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.
