: Position the brake band (1) in the
guide (arrow).
Engage the auger brake
– this relieves the brake spring.
: Push the brake band (1) into its
seats (arrows) as far as stop.
: Slide the insert (1) between the
outside of the brake band and the
clutch housing.
Insert screw and tighten it down
firmly.
Fit cover, insert and tighten down
the screw firmly.

Fit cover on brake band
mounting.
Install the clutch drum, b 4.1
Check operation, b 5.1
Reassemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.
5.3 Brake Lever
Troubleshooting, b 3.2
Remove the brake band, b 5.2
Engage the auger brake
– this relieves the brake spring.
: Use the assembly tool
1117 890 0900 to disconnect the
brake spring (1) from the anchor
pin (arrow) and the brake lever.
The turns of the brake spring must
be tightly against one another in the
relaxed condition. If this is not the
case, replace the brake spring.

: Unscrew bearing pin (1) from the
other side of the retainer (2).
: Remove the E-clip (1).
: Push the retainer (2) out
sideways and pull the brake
lever (3) off the pivot pin.
Check the pivot pin, replace if
necessary,
