Insert battery (1) and insert retaining
clasp (2).
● Connect the battery. (Ö 14.19)
● Install the steering column cover.
(Ö 14.17)
14.21 Charging the battery
● Stop the engine. (Ö 12.3)
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a
safe place.
● Remove the battery (Ö 14.20) and
charge using a suitable charging
system.
14.22 Lubrication
Lubricate the two front steering knuckles
via the two grease nipples on the front axle
using commercially available grease.
Lubricating:
● Stop the engine. (Ö 12.3)
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a
safe place.
● Engage the parking brake. (Ö 8.10)
● Unload the front axle by supporting
(lifting) it. (Ö 14.10)
● Clean the grease nipple.
Using a grease gun (not included in
standard equipment), inject grease on
both sides via grease nipples (1) until
small amounts of grease escape from the
steering knuckles.
● Remove escaping lubricating grease.
● Remove support for the front axle.
14.23 Combustion engine
Observe the operating and maintenance
instructions contained in the attached
engine instruction manual.
To achieve a long service life, it is always
particularly important to maintain a
sufficient level of oil and to change the
engine oil and air filter regularly.
14.24 Gearbox
For the user, the gearbox is maintenance-
free.
During the inspections of the machine by
the specialist dealer, the required
maintenance operations are performed on
the gearbox.
14.25 Storage
● Store the machine in a dry and dust-
free room out of reach of children and
unauthorised persons.
● Any machine faults must be remedied
prior to storage in order to maintain a
safe operating condition.
● Close the fuel cock. (Ö 14.15)
● Remove the ignition key and keep in a
place where no unauthorised persons,
especially children, can access it.
14.26 Extended periods of inoperation
(e.g. winter break)
● Carefully clean all external parts of the
engine and machine, in particular the
cooling ribs.
● Thoroughly lubricate/grease all moving
parts.
Risk of injury!
In order to charge the battery using
another charging system, the
battery must be removed.
The specifications on the battery
supplementary sheet and on the
charger must be observed.
