3-19 ENGINE
• Unhook the gearshift cam stopper spring from the lower
crankcase.
• Remove the circlip CD from the gearshift cam, and then draw
out the gearshift cam from the other side.
• Remove the gearshift cam stopper ® by removing the circlip

NOTE:
* When replacing the gearshift cam stopper bolt (4), apply a
small quantity of THREAD LOCK "1342" to the bolt.
* Rotate the bearing ® by hand to inspect for abnormal noise
and smooth rotation. Replace the bearing if there is any-
thing unusual.
• Remove the oil pump by removing the mounting bolts.
09900-00401: "L" type hexagon wrench set
• Remove the O-rings and dowel pins.
