• When installing the fuel pump assembly, first tighten all the
fuel pump mounting bolts lightly and then to the specified
torque.
$ Fuel pump mounting bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
• Connect the fuel hose to the fuel pump until it locks securely
(a click is heard).
FUEL PRESSURE INSPECTION
• Remove the seat and radiator covers. ("5-2)
• Remove the fuel tank bolt and rubber band. ("13-2)
• Lift and hold the fuel tank.
• Place a rag under the fuel hose and remove the fuel hose


• Disconnect the fuel pump coupler

2.
• Install the special tools between the fuel pump and fuel deliv-
ery pipe.

CAUTION
Be sure to connect the fuel hose by your hand. You
may not connect the fuel hose with any tool.
