ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
This chapter will cover the fundamentals of the electrical layout and funcons of the machine.
SAFETY NOTE: Please use cauon when working on any part of the Synesso™ electrical system. Live cur-

including turning o the machine, breaker, and/or unplugging the unit prior to working on the machine.
The major components of the electrical system can be broken down into the following funconal
categories:
1. Heang components (temperature probes, elements, thermal resets, and various parts of the CPU)
2. Water control (water inlet valves, brew valves, mix and hot water valves, water level probes and
various parts of the CPU, rocker and brew/pre-infusion switches, pump, and motor)
3. Operator feedback (visual display)
The locaons and descripons of the components above were covered in the chapter “Hydraulic System,”
with the excepon of the CPU and display, which will be covered in this chapter.
