32. Press the up (
S) or down (T) arrow button to select TEST SIGNAL (SDI).
33. Press the left (
W) or right (X) arrow button to select Standard.
34. Press the ENTER button.
35. Press the up (
S) or down (T) arrow button to select COLOR BAR.
36. Press the left (
W) or right (X) arrow button to select 100% Color Bars.
37. Connect the sync pulse generator CH 1 connector to the waveform monitor
using the 75
Ω BNC cable.
38. Set the waveform monitor to view the black burst signal.
39. Check that the waveform monitor displays the appropriate black burst signal.
40. Change the BNC cable from the CH 1 connector to the CH 2 connector.
41. Check that the waveform monitor displays the appropriate black burst signal.
42. Change the BNC cable from the CH 2 connector to the CH 3 connector.
43. Check that the waveform monitor displays the appropriate black burst signal.
44. Change the BNC cable from the CH 3 connector to the CH 4 connector.
45. Set the waveform monitor to view the color bars signal.
46. Check that the waveform monitor displays the appropriate color bars signal.
47. Change the BNC cable from the CH 4 connector to the SDI 1 connector.
48. Check that the waveform monitor displays the appropriate black burst signal.
49. Change the BNC cable from the SDI 1 connector to the SDI 2 connector.
50. Check that the waveform monitor displays the appropriate color bars signal.
Signal Outputs (SPG600 Option 02 Only).
51. Perform steps 15 through 17.
52. Press the up (
S) or down (T) arrow button to select ANALOG OUTPUT
(OPT).
53. Press the left (
W) or right (X) arrow button to select BB: 5,6,7 TEST: 8 and
then press the ENTER button.
54. Press the VIDEO button to enter the Video menu.
55. Press the up (
S) or down (T) arrow button to select TEST SIGNAL
(ANALOG).
