7.Tightentheswitch-mountingscrewsandnuts.
8.Withtheparkingbrakeengaged,usea
multimetertomeasurecontinuitythroughthe
switch;whenthepositionoftheswitchiscorrect,
youshouldmeasurecontinuitythroughswitch
circuit.
Note:Ifthereisnocontinuity,movetheswitch
downslightlyuntilthereiscontinuity.
9.Checktheoperationoftheparkingbrake
interlockswitchasfollows:
A.Engagetheparkingbrake.
B.Pressthetractionpedalwhiletheengineis
runningandthePTOswitchisintheOFF
position;Theparkingbrakeinterlockswitch
isoperatingcorrectlyiftheengineshutsoff
within2seconds.
Important:Iftheenginedoesnotstop,
theinterlocksystemisnotoperating
correctly.Youmustrepairtheinterlock
systembeforeoperatingthemachine.
10.Installthesteering-towercoverandbrake-rod
knob.
