To prevent death or serious injury in
a collision or sudden stop:
• When reinstalling the seat cush-
ions, be careful not to hit the seat
cushions against you or inside of
the vehicle .
•
Install each seat in the same posi-
tion from which it was removed.
Failure to do so will prevent rear
seat occupants from using seat
belts properly.
Tumbling rear seat cushion
(on double-cab models)
1. Remove the cent er head restraint. 2. Pull the strap as shown. The latch
under the seat cushion will release,
allowing the seat cushion to be
raised.
3. Raise the seat cushion as shown
and anchor the strap to the bracket
behind the rear seat.
4.
Replace the center head restraint.
