In this screen, the NIBP module has been replaced with a POEM2 NIBP module.
Before the VSM can use the POEM2 NIBP module, the service utility must update
the VSM with the new configuration. In this case, the NIBP module already contains
the latest software, so no software updates are needed. When the compatibility fields
have been set, the VSM is ready to use.
Uninstalling older versions of the utility
Use this procedure to uninstall an older version of the VSM 300 Service Utility before
installing a new version.
To uninstall the Service Utility program
1. From the lower left corner of the Windows desktop, click
Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs
2. Click the Welch Allyn Service Tool.
3. Click Change/Remove.
4. After the program is removed, reboot or turn off the computer.
