Head Wash Menu
Allows you to perform the HeadWash procedure.
Note:
• Make sure to use a dedicated cleaning fluid (Xerox P/N 108R00735).
CR Maintenance Menu
Allows you to perform maintenance. Use this to clean the cleaning wiper and the outside of the print
head.
Cleaning the Cleaning Wiper and Cleaning Around the Cap
Setup Item Setting Description
HeadWash Start Performs Head washing.
•Pressing the [Enter] key causes the Head washing operation
to begin.
Note:
• This flushes the system and can use large
quantities of ink (i.e., whatever is in the
bladders or dampers).
•The following content displays in the control panel.
Remove Cartridges Instructs you to remove the ink cartridges, and install the
cleaning cartridges.
Replacing Ink Cartridges

•Pressing the [Cancel] key shifts to the previous menu
without Head washing.

CR Maint. Start Begins maintenance.
•Pressing the [Enter] key causes the print head to move to
the left and the cleaning wiper to move forward.
End Completes maintenance.
•Pressing the [Enter] key causes the print head to return to
its original position and the cleaning wiper to return to its
original position.

•Pressing the [Cancel] key shifts to the previous menu
without maintenance.
