8. To clean the area between the head and the guide ramps, position the carriage such that it is just
off the right side of the platen. Work the swab using Eco-cleaning solvent under the head, being
especially careful not to touch the nozzle surface area.
9. Clean the space between the head and the guide ramps on both sides of the head.
10. Repeat the procedure on the left side of the head by positioning the carriage such that it is just off
the left side of the platen.
11. When finished performing head cleaning, close the front cover on the printer.
12. Press the [Enter] key.
a. The print head returns to its original position.
b. “CR Mainte.: Start" displays in the control panel.
