Notes:
• When loading the new roll media, cut the front edge of the media if it is not straight.
– 8254E Cutting media when the Media Cut menu is set to “Manual”
– 8254E Cutting media when the Media Cut menu is set to “Off”
• By default, the Media Cut feature is set to "Off" and it is not even visible among the
menu selections. The operator must first turn on the display of the feature via the
Selection menu. Then, he can select between "Manual" and "Off."
