HYDROSTATIC STEERING OIL AND
FILTER ELEMENT EXCHANGE
- Remove the left tractor side shield.
Loosen suction and draining hose
clamps and remove hoses from oil
tank necks. Drain the oil from tank.
- Remove the oil tank filler cap, push
the filter spring, turn the filter towards
the filler and remove it. Install the new
filter element.
- Remove both hoses from steering
cylinder and put them together with
return line hose into vessels for the old
oil
- Start the engine and turn the steering
wheel twice or three times into both
sides at low engine idle run (max. 10
seconds) to remove the oil from the
steering unit.
- Fix the tractor against movement and
lift the front axle.
- Put a vessel for the old oil under the
steering cylinder and remove the oil
from cylinder by turning of wheels (by
hand).
- Reassemble all disconnected fittings.
- Fill the tank by oil and bleed the hyd-
rostatic steering circuit.
