FRONT WHEEL TOE-IN
A 129
THE TRACTORS ARE STANDARTLY
EQUIPPED WITH HYDROSTATIC
STEERING
The process of setting is valid for
both axles:
- Measure the distance between rims in
front in the horizontal wheel axis plain.
Mark the measuring points.
- Drive the tractor so that the marked
points will be in rear horizontal position
(turned by 180°) and again measure
the distance between marked points
- Tighten the nuts of ball joint socket by
torque 122 - 136 Nm. The upper surfa-
ces of joint sockets must be parallel.
Tractors with front non-driven axle:
- Slide out the steering cylinder piston
rod up to value 145,5 „ 1.
- Loosen nuts (2,3) and adjust the toe-in
to the required value by turning of rod
(4) (measure on the rim side)
Tractors with front driving axle:
- Turn wheels parallel with longitudinal
tractor axis.
- Loosen the ball joint socket nuts of
steering connecting rod at hydraulic
cylinder.
- Adjust the prescribed toe-in by turning
of ball joint pin. Adjust both joints to
keep the same steering angle on both
sides (measure on rim side).
If you use tractor in the road traffic
(dominant using) we recommend to turn
the front tires on the rims. You prolong
the durability of tires.
