EXCHANGE OF HYDROSTATIC
STEERING HOSES
Hydrostatic steering hoses must be
exchanged after four years from time of
manufacturing (time is marked on hose
surface) or after 3 000 hours of tractor
operation, eventually immediately after
founding any symptoms of damage i.e.
hose sweating, local bulging, leakage of
oil at fittings and on hose surface, me-
chanical damage of hose surface up to
steel wire cord.
Don’t keep the steering wheel in the
max. steering angle positions (max. time
is 20 seconds ), otherwise the oil is ex-
cessively heated in the hydrostatic
steering circuit.
Steeringability is kept even in ca-
se of hydrostatic steering pump
failure or if the engine stops but
the steering force is bigger on the
steering wheel. Tractor can be
driven into the nearest place for
repair at reduced transportation
speed.
