2.3.4 Fitting equipment on robot
Introduction
The robot features mounting holes for additional equipment.
Access to any of the following mounting holes may be obstructed by any additional
cabling, equipment, etc., fitted by the robot user. Make sure the required mounting
holes are accessible when planning the robot cell.
Note
All equipment and cables used on the robot, must be designed and fitted not to
damage the robot and/or its parts.
Note
Never drill a hole in the robot without first consulting ABB!
Maximum loads
The table shows the maximum permitted loads for any extra equipment fitted in
the holes intended for this purpose. See figure in Fitting equipment on base and
upper arm on page 73.
