• The luer-lock end of the infusion set is protected.
Caution: Use your insulin pump for insulin delivery in
the lock position only.

against a hard object, the adapter may be damaged. A damaged or worn
out adapter could lead to water ingress into the cartridge compartment

Infusion sets
Infusion sets connect your insulin pump to your body and are therefore a crucial part
of pump therapy.
The insulin is delivered from the cartridge in your insulin pump via the adapter
through the infusion set into your subcutaneous tissue. The cannula or needle is usu-
ally placed in the abdomen or the hip.
All Accu-Chek infusion sets are PVC free. They are made of materials, which are skin-
friendly and neutral to insulin. The diameter of infusion set tubing has been reduced
in order to achieve faster and more economical priming and to reduce insulin waste.

the indicated expiration date. Do not use if package is damaged.
Caution: The adapter should only be used once and must be re-

ted expiration date.
Do not use if package is damaged. Once removed from its packa-
