2.8.2.1 Apply pressure to the front axle housing
Procedure
1.
Mount device (A) on the front axle oil filler
neck.
2.
Connect the compressed air hose to the
quick coupling of the device.
NOTE: The pressure in the housing is limited
by the device. The pressure of the
compressed air supply must not exceed 18
bar.

2.8.2.2 Bleed the suction line
Procedure
1.
Place an oil drip pan underneath the bleed
valve (B).
2.
Open the bleed valve.
3.
Allow oil-air mixture to drain until oil escapes
from the bleed valve without any air bubbles.
4.
Close bleed valve.
5.
Remove the compressed air hose from the
device.
6.
Disconnect the device from the filler neck.
ATTENTION: The front axle housing is
pressurized! Open the cap slowly when
removing the device.

7.
Check the oil level in the front axle centre
housing again.
2.8.3 Change the front axle suction and return filter
1. Loosen the oil drain plug (A) and allow the oil to
drain out of the filter box.
2. Unscrew the bolts on the filter cover.
3. Remove filter cover.
4. Remove return filter (B) and suction filter (C).
5. Insert new filter.
6. Fit new O-rings in the cover and attach the
cover.
7. Fit oil drain plug (A) with new seal ring.
