To disconnect and connect Mylar flex cables
CAUTION The mylar flex cables and their connectors are fragile; mishandling may damage the cable or
connector.
To disconnect the cable

Pry up the retainer slightly at either end of the connector using a small flat-blade
screwdriver. Do not force the retainer; it should remain attached to the body of the socket.
2 Gently pull the flex cable out of the connector.

To reconnect the cable
1 Ensure that the cable retainer is up, then insert the ribbon cable into the socket, making
sure to observe polarity of the cable with respect to the connector.
2 Push the ends of the retainer down onto the connector body, using a small flat-bladed
screwdriver. The retainer should be flush with the connector body when you are finished.
