When connecting the Lighting Link cable, set the LED Brightness/LED Lighting Speed setting of this unit to 0 (page 26).
OEM Steering Wheel Control Rentention
To use this feature the vehicle must have resistive steering wheel controls. (Most Japanese and KoreanVehicles)
If the vehicle does not have restisive steering and uses data controlled steering wheel controls then a 3rd party Steering Wheel Interface with a female
3.5mm connection to be hardwired to the iLX-W670 steering wheel control wires is needed. (Sold Separately)
Please check what kind of Steering Wheel controls you have before install.
Professional Installation is reccomended.
