Enter values Read community and Write community for SNMPv1/V2c
authentication, if required.
Telnet
Use the Name and Password fields to change the account used to login via
Telnet sessions.
Click Save to save your settings.
User Information
To add a user, do the following:
1. Select the Enable or Disable in the Management drop-down menu.
2. Key in a name and password in the Name and Password fields.
3. Set the outlet-by-outlet permissions of the user in the Outlet field.
4. Click Save to save your settings.
Note: Values must be entered in both the Name and Password fields in
order to enable an account.
The various options are explained in more detail in the following table:
Field Description
Management The Management field allows you to Enable or Disable a
user’s account:
Enable – stores the user account (see User Information,
page 43
Disable – disables the user account
Name From 1 to 16 characters are allowed depending on the
Account Policy settings. See Account Policy, page 56.
Password From 1 to 16 characters are allowed depending on the
Account Policy settings. See Account Policy, page 56.
