4.4 Defining SIP TCP Transport Type
The procedure below describes how to configure the SIP TCP transport type. Basically, you can
configure the Mediation Server to operate with TCP, which is not recommended by Microsoft.
¾ To define the SIP transport type for TCP:
1. Open the 'SIP General Parameters' page (Configuration tab > Protocol Configuration
menu > Protocol Definition submenu > SIP General Parameters).

2. From the ‘SIP Transport Type' drop-down list, select 'TCP'.
3. Click the Submit button to save your changes.
4. Save the changes to flash memory, by clicking the Burn button on the toolbar.
