CAUTION: T he “LAM P INFO” parameters M UST be updated after ea ch installation of a xenon lamp inside the
lamp house. Neglecting this update will result in poor performance and short life time of the xenon lamp. See
procedure “Re setting the lamp parameters”.
A realignmen t of t he xenon lamp in its reflector is required after the installation of the xenon lamp in the lamp
house. See procedure "Realignmen t of the lamp in its reflector", page 35.
4.5 Installation of the lamp house
WARNING: This procedure may only be performed by qualified technical service personnel.
CAUTION: Due to its high internal pressure, the lamp m ay explode in e ither hot or cold st ates if im properly
handled.
Necessary tools
Flat screw driver.
How to install the la mp house
1. Ensure the projector is switched off.
2. Remove the lamp cover.
3. Hold fast the lam p house by its handles and gently slide the lamp house into its s ocket. Note that the c ompartment is provided
with guides (G) t o position the lamp house correctly.
