The a ir filters should be cleaned monthly under normal environment conditions. Equipment in very dusty or
otherwise contaminated areas may require more frequent maintenance.
If the air filters a re n ot regularly cleaned, the air flow inside the projector could be disrupted and cau se over-
heating. Overhea ting may lead to the pro jector shutting down du ring operation.
11.1 Removing the f ront dust filter
The front filter of the p rojector can b e rem ove d from the lamp side .
The filter can b e cleaned.
Remove the dust filter
1. Remove the input cover of the projector, "Removal of the input cover", page 68 .
2. Release the captive screw of the front cover.
Pull the left side of the front cover 5 centimeters forwards. Th ere is n o need to remove the cover completely.
