7.4.3.3.3 Example communication from BC9000 to a TwinCAT PC system
In some applications polling operation (master-slave principle) is not wanted. The ADS function blocks of the
BC9000 enable both cross communication (from BC9000 to BC9000) and communication to the higher-level
TwinCAT PC system. This means that the BC9000 application can decide when data are sent to the higher-
level system. Any fault information, for example, is transferred immediately to the TwinCAT PC.
