Displaying current location*
You can have the car's location displayed even
with route guidance switched off.
Saving current location
1. Select "Dest. input" and press the control-
ler.
2. Select "Location" and press the controller.
The current location of your BMW is dis-
played.
3. Select "AS ADDRESS" and press the con-
troller.
To exit the menu:
Select the arrow and press the controller.
Correcting current location
If the navigation system is unable to identify
your current location, e.g. if you are in an under-
ground car park, only the longitude and latitude
are displayed in addition to the country and
town/city.
You can then correct your current location, e.g.
by entering the name of the adjacent street or
the nearest junction.
1. Select "Dest. input" and press the control-
ler.
2. Select "Location" and press the controller.
3. Select "Street" or "Junction" and press the
controller.
A list of possible street names is displayed.
4. Select the desired street and press the con-
troller.
5. Select "ACCEPT" and press the controller.
6. Select "AS ADDRESS" as appropriate and
press the controller to transfer the current
location to the address book.
To exit the menu:
Select the arrow and press the controller.

map if you desire, see Displaying map view on
page 147.
