Adjusting handlebar lever
Changing the position of
the brake-fluid reservoir can
allow air to penetrate the brake
system.
Do not twist the handlebar fitting
or the handlebars.
Attempting to adjust the
handbrake lever while riding
the vehicle can lead to accidents.
Do not attempt to adjust the
handbrake lever unless the mo-
torcycle is at a standstill.
Applying light pressure from
behind, turn adjusting screw 1
to the desired position.
The adjusting screw is
easier to turn if you push
the handlebar lever forward.
Adjustment options:
from position 1: widest span
between handlebar grip and
handlebar lever
to position 6: narrowest span
between handlebar grip and
handlebar lever
with Competition Kit

Turn adjusting screw 2 in dir-
ection A to increase the span
between handlebar grip and
handlebar lever.
Turn adjusting screw 2 in dir-
ection B to decrease the span
between handlebar grip and
handlebar lever.
The adjusting screw is
easier to turn if you push
the handlebar lever forward.
