5.1 Performance description
The axial piston variable pump generates, controls and regulates ahydraulic fluid
flow. The A15VSO/A15VLO isdesigned for stationary applications such astooling
machines.
Refer todatasheet 92801 and the order confirmation for the technical data,
operating conditions and operating limits oftheaxial piston unit.
5.2 Product description
The A15VSO/A15VLO isavariable pump with axial piston rotary group ofswashplate
design for hydrostatic drives inanopen circuit hydraulic system. Flow isproportional
todrive speed and displacement. The flow can besmoothly changed using the
control (cradle) (12). For axial piston units with swashplate design, the pistons (10)
are arranged axially relative tothe drive shaft.
In anopen circuit, the hydraulic fluid flows from the reservoir tothe hydraulic pump
from where itisfed tothe consumer, e.g.hydraulic motor. From the consumer, the
hydraulic fluid flows directly back tothe reservoir.
