Generator operation
Please observe the methods of handling prescribed in the operating instructions
of the generator manufacturer.
The generator must operate within the parameters for a 230 V mains supply.
Do not connect the device to the generator until it is running steady, and dis-
connect it before you switch it off. The voltage spikes created during the start-
up and shut-down phases may damage the device.

Clean the device and the ventilation slots with a dry, lint-free cloth.
Procedures in the event of faults
The device is maintenance-free. However, if any faults do occur, please pro-
ceed according to the following table:
Fault Action
The device is not
working.
Check the circuit breaker and the mains connection.
The battery is not
being charged.
Check the battery connection, ensuring correct polarity.
Unplug the mains plug of the device and reinsert it.
12 V circuits are
not being supplied.
Check the fuses and replace them if necessary.
Check the connections to the affected circuits.
The voltage of the
battery 2 has
dropped below
1.5 volt.
Start the motor and let it run for approx. 30 seconds.
Battery voltage rises above 1.5 volt. The charging proc-
ess starts automatically.
The device is
overheating and is
not working.
The thermal switch was triggered. Wait for a few minutes
until the device has cooled down.
